TV GUIDE: The Magic of being Uniquely You! That’s an exciting theme, right?
MARTIN: Oh yeah, it’s perfect!
NANCY: There are so many great stories out there — we wanted to share them. So, when we were asked to host this show, we knew we had to do it.
TV GUIDE: We see the first organization you feature is Philly Friendship Circle (PFC)— why did you choose them?
MARTIN: Our own children, Elise & Adam, were actively involved when they were in high school - so that’s how they landed on our radar.
NANCY: PFC creates an environment that allows teens and young adults a place to just have FUN! Our kids learned so much about themselves - and the values of kindness and patience. Plus, they formed great friendships.
MARTIN: They were also encouraged to explore what was "unique" about themselves - and allow that quality to shine through.
TV GUIDE: The joy people feel when they discover their distinct gifts & talents - well, it’s almost indescribable.
NANCY: Totally. But when we saw what was happening at PFC - the atmosphere, the super-fun activities, the talented team - it just translates to this amazing place for self discovery… it blew our minds.
TV GUIDE: Yes! Teens & young adults really flourish in that environment.
MARTIN: That’s why it’s the focus of this show. We know our viewers will be captivated by the stories coming out of the Philly Friendship Circle.
NANCY: We can’t wait!
