Qualifications: Ideal candidates will possess strong organizational and communication skills with a desire to work in a collaborative, team environment. Must be trustworthy and self-motivated. Candidates should be very comfortable and skilled with word processing, Excel, social media and internet applications. We are also looking for some experience with basic graphic design and Adobe creative suite. An ability to learn quickly, a strong work ethic and sensitivity to the special needs population and to all youth in general are essential.

Duties & Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

General office tasks and organization
Writing & editing
Creating promotional pieces (graphics, videos, photographs, etc.)
Graphic work as it pertains to curriculum and programming
Social media & website upkeep
Program support & assistance in the planning of programming

The intern will also help to make our Community Events a success. This may include but is not limited to, the following:
Reaching out to local media and organizations to promote event
Using social media to promote event
Providing web support for people who register for our event
Researching in-kind donations
Other duties as assigned
