Based on the bedrock foundation of "love your fellow as yourself,"
our mission is to:
- Engage children and teens with special needs through fun, interactive experiences that will build the confidence and self-esteem they need for a productive adult life.
- Give the parents and families of these unique young people much-needed respite and support.
- Nurture a sense of awareness and responsibility in our teenage volunteers -- while inspiring them through the sharing of themselves with others.
- Connect this dynamic “circle of friends” to the Jewish community through educational and social programs.
Our Vision
We envision a world in which people with special needs and their families experience acceptance, inclusion, and friendship as opposed to social isolation.
We envision stimulating programs and activities in which teen volunteers, children with special needs, and their families find meaning and self-value.
We envision our teen volunteers developing into the strong, sensitive leaders of tomorrow.
We envision a Jewish community that embraces those with special needs, and allows each person to contribute in his/her own way.
We envision a world filled with love and respect for everyone -- regardless of age, race, religious affiliation, or personal differences.
