Programs we currently offer
At The Friendship Circle, we love getting to know the
families of our Special Friends. We work together with each family to
understand their specific needs and concerns, to offer them the services,
programs and support they need the most.
Friends @ Home:
The Friendship Circle exists to meet the needs of your child in a wonderful,
unique way. Teenage volunteers, who are specially trained, become a
friend and mentor to your son or daughter, thereby giving them the
opportunities of friends, play dates and programs that every child
enjoys. Through our Friends at Home program, your child has the weekly
joy of a regular play date, a pair of friends who come to your home
just for him or her.
Imagine your child looking forward to the moment their special friend
walks through the door for an hour or two of play. Together, they bake
cookies, play games, do arts ‘n' crafts activities, play in the
snow, read books...or do just about anything they can think of! The opportunities
are endless to have a great time together. While your child is happily
learning and being entertained, you will enjoy a regular respite.
The Friendship Circle is here to help you and your child. Our dedicated
staff works with the volunteers to be an asset to you and your family.
We invite your child to join The Friendship Circle and become a part of the family.
Sunday Circle & Holiday Programs:
The Sunday Circle is a respite
program which is held one Sunday afternoon a month. It enables you to leave your child in the hands of qualified professionals, and loving volunteers. Each child,one-on-one with a teen friend, will enjoy music and movement, art, story-time, and other fun activities in a structured schedule, while you have the opportunity to join our popular parent networking session or just take a deep breath and enjoy some free time.
An additional respite opportunity is our Holiday Program, where your children together with their teen friend, experience the magic of the Jewish calendar with refreshments, crafts, games and unique entertainers in a fair-like structure.
Parents Networking Session:
Simultaneous to the Sunday Circle and Holiday Programs is our parent networking session where you get to catch a breather, network with other parents, exchange ideas and hear from helpful and informative speakers.
Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparation:
The Friendship Circle is pleased to offer private Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparation

With the guidance of our experienced and dedicated staff in the comfort
of your own home, your child can prepare for one of the most important
milestones in his/her life.
We work with you, to create individualized plans and goals accommodating
to your child’s specific needs.
